Cuts Carbon Footprint by Installing Video Conferencing Suite
at Poole Offices |
 |
In
a bid to reduce our carbon footprint a full HD Video Conferencing
suite has been installed at our main offices, in Poole.
The advantages are clear, a reduction in travel time and
cost as well as the ability to have face-to-face meetings
with clients from anywhere in the world at the drop of
a hat. But perhaps the biggest advantage is the reduction
in Co2 emissions - we estimate that this purchase alone
will reduce our carbon footprint by approx. 18 tonnes
in the next 12 months!
Should
you wish to speak with us via VC please contact our I.T
department to obtain our IP address details. |

Products added to RAM Structural System Version
12. |

|
|
Working
closely with Bentley Systems, our decking products
are now available for selection in the RAM Structural
System (RSS). The recently released RSS Version
12 now includes the ability to design composite
and non-composite beams using SMD decking products.
In addition, SMD decks can now be specified in
a full building model to assess the new SCI design
routine P354 for floor vibration design dealing
with response factors.
This
new upgrade is available to all RAM clients on
a maintenance contract and will be shown for the
first time in seminars throughout the UK and Ireland
during May and June, to register for the seminars

Metal Decks – Extend new offices |
|
Our
continued success and the associated growth in staff
made it necessary for us to move to new ‘state
of the art’ offices on Tower Park, Poole,
Dorset. The offices based over two floors have been
extended further but still benefit from a relaxed
open plan design, enhancing communication and workflow
between departments. |
